ICS Physical Chemistry is a peer-reviewed international journal devoted to reporting new and original experimental and theoretical research works in the physical chemistry field. The journal is managed and published by the Physical Chemistry Division of the Indonesian Chemical Society. ICS Physical Chemistry is proud to be the first society-based international journal in Indonesia that focus on the physical chemistry field. In the spirit to advance the body of science and to widely benefit the community, all articles in ICS Physical Chemistry are open access and there is no article processing charge and no article submission fee.

Vol. 1 No. 1 (2021): ICS Physical Chemistry
Physical Chemistry Division of Indonesian Chemical Society is proud to launch the first issue of ICS Physical Chemistry, the first society-based international journal in Indonesia that focus on the physical chemistry field. This first issue also commemorates the 5th anniversary of the Physical Chemistry Division that was established back in December 2015.
In this issue, a mini review on the synthesis and applications of nanoporous and nanolayered materials is written by our Editor-in-chief as a highlight to the rapid development of nanomaterials in Indonesia ("Synthesis and Application of Nanolayered and Nanoporous Materials", p1). On the cover image is the microscopic droplet formed by a finite water molecules as described by molecular dynamics simulations that illustrate the role of computer simulations in the surface science ("Molecular Dynamics Simulation of Wetting Behavior: Contact Angle Dependency on Water Potential Models", p10).
