Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The manuscript has not been previously published, it is not being submitted to another journal for consideration, and it will not be submitted to another journal before the editorial decision here is made.
-
The manuscript file is in Microsoft Word document file format. The authors understand that the final typesetting/layout will be done by the journal editorial team using LaTeX and the authors should focus on the quality of the writings.
- The authors' names, affiliations, and contributions are not written in the manuscript to ensure the double-blind peer-review process. Instead, they are provided in a separate file named the Title Page.
- The references adhere to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. On the initial submission stage, all figures, tables, and schemes should be included in the manuscript as one single file.
- A cover letter for the editor has been prepared to highlight the significance and novelty of the findings in the submitted manuscript. At the end of the cover letter, the authors have named at least three experts as potential reviewers based on their expertise in the subject. They should not be in the same institution and they have no research collaboration with the corresponding author for the last three years.
- The authors understand that a plagiarism check will be done by the journal editorial team and a high similarity index (>20%) will result in early rejection.
- When the submitted manuscript is accepted for publication, authors must be able to provide a separate high-quality image file for each figure that appears on the manuscript.
