Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The manuscript has not been previously published, it is not being submitted to another journal for consideration, and it will not be submitted to another journal before the editorial decision here is made.
  • The manuscript file is in Microsoft Word document file format. The authors understand that the final typesetting/layout will be done by the journal editorial team using LaTeX and the authors should focus on the quality of the writings.
  • The authors' names, affiliations, and contributions are not written in the manuscript to ensure the double-blind peer-review process. Instead, they are provided in a separate file named the Title Page.
  • The references adhere to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. On the initial submission stage, all figures, tables, and schemes should be included in the manuscript as one single file.
  • A cover letter for the editor has been prepared to highlight the significance and novelty of the findings in the submitted manuscript. At the end of the cover letter, the authors have named at least three experts as potential reviewers based on their expertise in the subject. They should not be in the same institution and they have no research collaboration with the corresponding author for the last three years.
  • The authors understand that a plagiarism check will be done by the journal editorial team and a high similarity index (>20%) will result in early rejection.
  • When the submitted manuscript is accepted for publication, authors must be able to provide a separate high-quality image file for each figure that appears on the manuscript.

Author Guidelines

ICS Physical Chemistry (ICS Phys. Chem.) is an international peer-review and open-access journal devoted to reporting new and original experimental and theoretical research works in the physical chemistry field. The journal welcomes the submission of a full paper from original research work and a review article on an important research subject in the physical chemistry field. Report on research works that give a new physical insight is highly prioritized.

The manuscript should be prepared in Microsoft Word document file format using the manuscript template file. Note that the final typesetting/layout will be done by the journal editorial team using LaTeX; thus authors should focus on the quality of the writings/contents, figures, grammatical rules, and avoid mistakes in typography. 

The manuscript should be submitted through our online system by the corresponding author who will be responsible for all communication during the submission and peer-review process. To submit a manuscript, the corresponding author must register and login to the submission page. A cover letter that explains the significance of the research work must be prepared for each manuscript submission. The corresponding author should confirm that neither the manuscript nor any parts of the manuscript are currently under review or already published in another journal. 

All submissions will be peer-reviewed in a double-blind process. Therefore, the authors' information should be provided only on the TITLE PAGE which is separated from the manuscript.  Upon acceptance, authors must provide each figure that appears in the manuscript as a separate high-resolution image file.
